We will set up most of the AR Hunt, but you will need to complete:

  • The start location

  • Hint to find each character

  • The prize awarded

Assets you’ll need:

Hero Banner

If you wish, you can change any of the uploaded images with something else you have created.

Adding your Hints to the competition:

  1. Go to the Competitions tab on the left menu bar

  2. Select the relevant AR Hunt

  3. Fill in the competition details:

  • Start location

  • How to play instructions

  • Awarded points (if you want them to receive points for finishing the hunt, if not enter 0)

  • Dates (start and end date for the hunt)

  • Target audience (set to everyone, for all customers to participate)

  • Hints (any hints to assist in finding the targets)

5. Choose the entry mechanism from the drop-down menu and set the frequency on how many times people can enter

Frequency Settings:

  • Once ever: customers will only be permitted to complete the hunt once

  • Unlimited: customers can complete the hunt multiple times. If you have assigned points for completion, they will receive the set amount of points each time the hunt is completed. If you are giving out a prize for completing the hunt, they will only receive the prize once, the first time they complete the hunt.

6. Set the completion message for the hunt in the Competition Message settings box

This message will appear if you’ve selected the unlimited frequency setting and will notify the customer that if they complete the hunt more than once they do not receive a second prize.

7. Set the reward details for the hunt

  • Prize description

  • Banner image

  • Collection location (which retailer do they collect the prize from)

  • How many prizes are available

  • Scanning message (when the winning QR code is scanned, what message it will display)

8. Click 'Create'
