How to upload and manage a Scratch and Win campaign in the admin.

Assets you'll need:

Competition Banner Image

The background cover image for the scratch card competition. The screenshot below shows this being used:

Artwork size for competition banners: JPG, Optimal dimensions 1920px wide x 1080px high, <150KB

Prize Banner Image

The cover image for the redeem tab on the app when customers win a prize. This banner is specific to the prize won. Ie. "Free Coffee" or "Free Slime Kit" respective to the prize won.

Unscratched Card Image

This is the card that your customers will scratch to see whether they've won or lost. You can see the screenshot below. We suggest it includes the words "Scratch here" or "Scratch me".

Lose Card Image

This is the card that your customers will see if they lose the competition. You can see this in the example screenshot below. It should have a strong contrast to the Unscratched card.

Win Card Image

This is the card that your customers will see if they win the scratch card. You can see in the screenshot below how this card appears after the customer scratches. This should change depending on which item the customer has won. Ie. "Free Coffee" or "Free Slime Kit" and match the prize banner selected.

Setting up the competition:

  1. Go to the Competitions tab on the left menu bar

  2. Click the ‘Create’ button in the top right

  3. Select ‘Scratch and Win’ in the drop-down and fill in the name

  4. Fill in the Competition details-

  • Name

  • Dates (when and for how long the competition will run)

  • Competition description (how to play)

  • Reward details (inc. purchase prize limits, select the retailer)

  • Choose collection point for the prizes

  • Choose the target segment

  • Prize probability (winning and losing)

  • Set Max Redemption period per reward (how many of that reward can be redeemed per hour/day/week/month)

Examples of probability to guide you are below:

E.g. Win a share in over $[insert amount] worth of instant prizes!

Make a purchase at participating retailers then scan the QR code. Scratch the panel and see if you’ve won instantly!

One scratch card per retailer per day. Please ask for your receipt if you win, as proof of purchase may be required when collecting your prize.

The profile must be completed to win. Entries close at 9 pm, 19th May 2021. Winners will be drawn [insert date]. T&Cs apply. Enter now and good luck!

5. Upload competition banners and scratch and win images

6. Chose the entry mechanism from the drop-down menu and set the frequency on how many times people can enter

Type of entry:

  • Free: no points to enter

  • Earn: earn points in a defined period to enter

  • Cost: points to enter

Incentivise FB share: prompt people to share the comp on their Facebook

7. Click 'Create' in the top
